I got the idea from a conversation my husband and son had while my husband was playing the game 'Don't Starve' on Steam.
One of them said "...a trunk full of fireflies." and I got a visual in my head that I had to get out.
Artrage 4 + Wacom Bamboo Splash. I then exported the piece to a PSD file and used Photoshop CS6 to make the "fireflies" glow.
